How much factory warranty is left on your EX90?
Estimate only, assuming the car was first sold early in its model year. Your in-service date is on your registration or available from a dealer.
Volvo EX90 factory warranty
New Volvo vehicles typically come with basic coverage for 4 years or 50,000 miles and powertrain coverage for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage starts on the date the vehicle was first sold. Terms can differ by model year, so confirm yours in the warranty booklet or with a Volvo dealer.
Why body style matters
SUVs carry more weight than cars and many have all-wheel drive, which adds a transfer case or coupling, a rear differential and extra axle shafts. Power liftgates, third-row climate control and panoramic roofs add electrical parts that sit outside powertrain coverage.
Electric drivetrain
An electric vehicle has no engine oil, spark plugs or multi-speed transmission. What can fail is the drive unit, the onboard charger, the DC-DC converter, the heat pump and the battery cooling system, plus the same suspension, steering and electronics as any car. Only some plans accept EVs, and battery capacity loss is not covered.
About Volvo
Modern Volvos combine a turbocharged engine with supercharging or plug-in hybrid hardware in a single powertrain. That is a lot of components to cover once the 4-year warranty ends.

Is the Volvo EX90 eligible for extended coverage?
Eligibility depends on the vehicle's year and mileage, and each provider sets its own limits. Fewer providers accept fully electric vehicles, so tell us the exact model and year.
Which coverage level fits a Volvo EX90?
