What is covered

What is usually not covered
Manual clutch discs and pressure plates are wear items and are normally excluded. Fluid changes are maintenance, not a covered repair.
Which plan level includes it
Typical level: Powertrain. Providers draw the lines differently, so confirm that this component group is listed in the contract you are considering.
Worth knowing. CVTs and dual-clutch transmissions are usually replaced as complete units, which makes this one of the most valuable items to have covered.
