Hyundai Santa Cruz factory warranty

The long powertrain term applies to the original owner. If you bought your Hyundai Santa Cruz used, the powertrain coverage that transfers to you is generally shorter.
Why body style matters
Pickups are often used to tow and haul, which loads the transmission, transfer case, differentials and cooling system. Four-wheel-drive hardware adds more parts. If you use the truck for work, check that the plan allows commercial use.
Turbocharged engine
A turbocharger spins at very high speed and runs hot. Turbo failure, wastegate and boost-control faults, intercooler leaks and carbon build-up on direct-injection engines are the common problems. Check that the turbocharger is named in the contract, because some basic powertrain plans leave it out.
