How much factory warranty is left on your Clubman?
Estimate only, assuming the car was first sold early in its model year. Your in-service date is on your registration or available from a dealer.
Mini Clubman factory warranty
New Mini vehicles typically come with basic coverage for 4 years or 50,000 miles and powertrain coverage for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage starts on the date the vehicle was first sold. Terms can differ by model year, so confirm yours in the warranty booklet or with a Mini dealer.
The Clubman is no longer sold new in the US, so most examples are close to or beyond the end of factory coverage.
Why body style matters
Wagons share their running gear with the sedan or crossover they are based on. Many have all-wheel drive, which adds a rear differential and a center coupling to the parts list.
Turbocharged engine
A turbocharger spins at very high speed and runs hot. Turbo failure, wastegate and boost-control faults, intercooler leaks and carbon build-up on direct-injection engines are the common problems. Check that the turbocharger is named in the contract, because some basic powertrain plans leave it out.
About Mini
Minis use BMW-derived turbocharged engines packed into a small engine bay, which raises labor time on many repairs. Clutch, cooling and oil-leak repairs are familiar to owners of older cars.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Is the Mini Clubman eligible for extended coverage?
Eligibility depends on the vehicle's year and mileage, and each provider sets its own limits. Because the Clubman is no longer sold new, older examples may qualify only for powertrain-level plans.
Which coverage level fits a Mini Clubman?
If the turbocharged engine and transmission are your main concern, a powertrain plan covers them. If you also want air conditioning, electrical parts and electronics covered, look at a mid-level or comprehensive plan.
How much does a Mini Clubman extended warranty cost?
Price depends on the model year, mileage, coverage level, deductible and your ZIP code. Request a quote with your details for an actual price.
