- Turbocharger and superchargerThe turbocharger or supercharger housing and internal parts, the wastegate actuator and, on higher tiers, the intercooler.
- EngineThe engine block, cylinder heads and the internally lubricated parts inside them: pistons, crankshaft, camshafts, timing chain, oil pump and valve train.

How much factory warranty is left on your 500L?
Estimate only, assuming the car was first sold early in its model year. Your in-service date is on your registration or available from a dealer.
Fiat 500L factory warranty
New Fiat vehicles typically come with basic coverage for 4 years or 50,000 miles and powertrain coverage for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage starts on the date the vehicle was first sold. Terms can differ by model year, so confirm yours in the warranty booklet or with a Fiat dealer.
The 500L is no longer sold new in the US, so most examples are close to or beyond the end of factory coverage.
Why body style matters
Wagons share their running gear with the sedan or crossover they are based on. Many have all-wheel drive, which adds a rear differential and a center coupling to the parts list.
Turbocharged engine
A turbocharger spins at very high speed and runs hot. Turbo failure, wastegate and boost-control faults, intercooler leaks and carbon build-up on direct-injection engines are the common problems. Check that the turbocharger is named in the contract, because some basic powertrain plans leave it out.
About Fiat
Fiat has a small dealer network in the US, so it helps to have a plan that lets you use any licensed repair shop rather than only a brand dealer.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Is the Fiat 500L eligible for extended coverage?
Eligibility depends on the vehicle's year and mileage, and each provider sets its own limits. Because the 500L is no longer sold new, older examples may qualify only for powertrain-level plans.
Which coverage level fits a Fiat 500L?
If the turbocharged engine and transmission are your main concern, a powertrain plan covers them. If you also want air conditioning, electrical parts and electronics covered, look at a mid-level or comprehensive plan.
How much does a Fiat 500L extended warranty cost?
Price depends on the model year, mileage, coverage level, deductible and your ZIP code. Request a quote with your details for an actual price.
