What is usually not covered
Food spoilage, door seals and shelves on most plans. Ice makers and water dispensers may be covered only on higher tiers.

Included in appliance and total plans. Check the per-item coverage limit in the contract against what it would cost to replace your own equipment.
Before you file a claim. Contact the provider before arranging any repair. Work done without authorization is usually not reimbursed, and failures linked to missing maintenance or a problem that existed before coverage began are excluded.
