There is no single price
Prices are set per vehicle. Two owners of the same model can get different quotes because of mileage, location and the plan they choose. That is why a quote needs your year, make, model, mileage and ZIP code.
What moves the price
The vehicle's age and mileage. The make and model, since parts and labor cost more on some than others. The coverage level. The length of the term. The deductible. Where you live.
How to pay less
Buy before the factory warranty expires, when the vehicle is cheaper to cover. Choose a higher deductible. Pick the coverage level that matches the parts you are actually worried about rather than the highest tier by default.
Payment terms
Most plans can be paid in full or in monthly installments. Ask whether installments carry any fee, and what happens to coverage if a payment is missed.
